My interest in art design began in high school.  I began using digital pics that I altered on a PC and printed.  I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree at Texas State University in 2008.  In 2009 I co-founded a graphics design company called Under Pressure in Austin, Texas.  The company primarily did t-shirt design and printing for individuals & companies.  Gradually we made inroads into the Austin music scene and I excelled in making posters for bands and festivals.  My passion for posters has lead to my new  company dedicated to design illustration and printing.  I plan to continue developing my own personal style to create lasting works of art along with gig & festival posters.  I look forward to working with you to create unique posters to commemorate and promote your band, tour or festival.

My Story

Around 2010 I began making simple posters for bands at my t-shirt company.  I used the manual t-shirt presses we had to make posters up to 16X24 inches.  The work was difficult and I was limited by the equipment I had and my knowledge of the serigraphy process for posters.  In 2015 I bought a new M&R Saturn hydraulic poster press that was state of the art and enabled me to create larger posters with much less difficulty.  My work rapidly progressed as I discovered the use of foil papers, learned to mix special inks and my special style of poster art evolved.  In 2017 I was able to completely focus on making posters resulting in the opening of a large, dedicated poster studio in Coupland, Texas by the end of the year.  Rad Ink occupies a building that is over 100 years old.  I'm sure the original builders didn't envision a high tech poster art studio using this historic brick structure.
